Inspector John Nolan, Victoria Police
Former Officer Shane O'Connell, Victoria Police
Please note that public hearings exploring terms of reference 1 and 2 conclude Friday 21 February 2020.
A small number of public hearings are expected to take place in April to identify and explore any legislative, policy, procedural or other measures that may be needed to strengthen Victoria Police's approach to the management of human sources with legal obligations of confidentiality or privilege.
Public hearings take place at the Fair Work Commission, Court Room 1, Level 6, 11 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, unless otherwise indicated. Current hearing hours are generally from 9.30 am to 1.15 pm and from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
While the Commission’s preference is to hold its hearings in public, it may be necessary to close parts of these hearings to protect the safety of certain witnesses and affected persons.
Seating is limited and priority will be given to those parties with leave to appear.
Those wishing to attend should note that proceedings may be streamed live through this website and images of people in the public gallery could be captured.
Please note that the Commission does not conduct hearings every day. To find out when hearings will be taking place, please check this page or call the Commission on 1800 312 612.
