The Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants will hold public hearings from Wednesday 27 March 2019 to Friday 29 March 2019.
The first witness will be Neil Paterson APM, Assistant Commissioner, Intelligence and Covert Support Command, Victoria Police.
The focus of the hearings will then be on Victoria Police’s dealings with Nicola Gobbo between 1993 and 2000. A number of current and former members of Victoria Police will give evidence.
The public hearings will commence at 10.00 am Wednesday 27 March 2019 at the Fair Work Commission, Court Room 1, level 6, 11 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, unless otherwise notified.
Those wishing to attend should note that the hearings may be streamed live through the Commission’s website and images of those in the public gallery could be captured.
